Hello, my name is

Elizabeth Ho

I'm a second-year Computer Science student with a minor in Human-Computer Interaction at Virginia Tech. I'm interested in building technology that enhances everyday lives, especially through thoughtful and intuitive design!

I really enjoy collaborating with others and learning from different perspectives. I'm especially drawn to the design side of tech — understanding how users interact with a product and what makes something feel easy or frustrating to use. That's what led me to full-stack development, where I can both design and build, turning ideas into something real and usable!

Life outside of tech 💻

I believe the best work comes from having balance. While I'm passionate about building and learning in tech, I also make time for the things that keep me grounded and motivated. Whether it's staying active, spending time with people, or exploring new interests, these experiences play a big role in who I am and how I show up in everything I do!

travel

travel 🌍

One of my favorite things to do is travel — it gives me the chance to explore new places and experience different cultures. I really enjoy seeing how people live in different parts of the world and learning from those experiences.

bobaholic 🧋

I ABSOLUTELY love boba — I'm always excited to try new drinks and explore different combinations. What really stands out to me is how many types of tea leaves and flavors people can mix together to create something unique.

bouldering

bouldering 🧗

Bouldering quickly became one of my favorite things to do — I love the problem-solving aspect of it. I'm not usually the best at sports, but what made me fall in love with bouldering is that it's not just about being physically strong. It requires technique, patience, and figuring out the best way to approach each climb, which really clicked for me.

Another thing I love outside of tech is photography. I feel like it captures small moments that might otherwise be forgotten, and it's really nice to look back on them later. It also reminds me of the beauty in different scenery, cultures, and everyday life. I love being able to capture those details and appreciate the world around me.
